Cassandra Carter RP
Hello! I’m Cassandra and I am a registered psychotherapist.
Having grown up in the Ottawa Valley area, I am passionate about helping to better the lives of those in our communities and beyond. In my own life, and particularly my experiences as a parent, I have learned how valuable incorporating coping skills for anxiety, emotional regulation and mindfulness can be- and I am inspired to empower my clients to find the strategies that work best for them.
I employ a person-centered, integrative approach, believing that therapy should be tailored to each of my client’s individual needs while viewing feelings, thoughts, and behaviours as interconnected, influencing daily functioning. To me, therapy is a collaborative process where clients are well-informed, and able to share their thoughts and opinions. I strive to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere for all, maintaining a non-judgmental and empathetic stance throughout the therapeutic journey.
My commonly used approaches to therapy include Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Solution-Focused, and Mindfulness-based techniques.
I look forward to working alongside you!

RP (Qualifying)
Welcome! I’m so glad you are here.
My name is Amanda,
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in good standing with the CRPO, with over 15 years of experience supporting adults in their mental health journeys. I began my career in community mental health, providing support in complex and diverse settings, before transitioning to psychotherapy after earning my Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.
In addition to my work as a therapist, I am a trained yoga and meditation teacher, passionate about helping individuals cultivate greater peace, presence, and authenticity in their lives.
If you find yourself at a crossroads, feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about how to move forward - therapy can help you gain insight, heal underlying emotional wounds, and build the tools to navigate life’s challenges with resilience. Whether your goals involve fostering deeper self-awareness, creating more meaningful relationships, or achieving greater balance and stability, you don’t have to do it all alone.
My Clinical Approach
I use a bottom-up, integrative approach to therapy that incorporates both skills-based and experiential modalities. Grounded in attachment theory and somatic practices, my work emphasizes the importance of understanding the connection between the mind and body in healing.
I integrate emotion-focused and body-centered interventions with skills-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness. I aim to provide a comprehensive framework for growth and change that is tailored to each unique human I work with.
A central focus of my work is cultivating presence, self-acceptance, and self-compassion. These qualities are essential in addressing the underlying patterns and behaviours that may be holding you back, enabling you to move toward your therapeutic goals with greater clarity and intention.
I understand that beginning therapy can bring up questions and uncertainties - about what therapy involves, whether it’s the right fit, or how to feel comfortable opening up. If this resonates with you, I invite you to book a free 15 minute consultation to explore how we might work together.

Lindsay McIntyre
Hi, I’m Lindsay, a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Windsor. With over 13 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, youth, and adults, helping them navigate challenges like depression, anxiety, self-harm, burnout, and trauma.
Therapy can feel intimidating, but it’s not just for addressing major life crises. It’s an investment in yourself, a space to explore challenges, develop strategies, and grow in ways that feel meaningful to you. My approach is warm and empathetic, focusing on your strengths to help you move forward.
Together, we’ll build on the skills you already have, making small, manageable changes that lead to meaningful progress. I believe that small victories deserve to be celebrated, as they are the foundation for lasting transformation!
My priority is to create a welcoming, safe space where we can build a strong therapeutic relationship. I tailor my approach to your unique needs, ensuring that therapy feels relevant and empowering. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep appreciation for the diverse experiences each person brings, including those of neurodivergent children, youth, and adults. I am especially skilled at creatively addressing challenges with executive function and helping clients find strategies that work for them.
I have extensive experience supporting individuals experiencing caregiver and workplace burnout. Whether you’re a caregiver feeling emotionally exhausted, a parent managing the demands of a high-support needs child, or a professional overwhelmed by work-related stress, I understand how burnout can impact your well-being, relationships, and sense of self. My approach focuses on recognizing burnout early, managing stress with self-compassion, and building sustainable coping strategies, including boundary-setting. Having lived through burnout myself, I can empathize with its challenges and am committed to helping others regain balance and purpose.
I am also passionate about supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and those who are new to exploring their identity. I strive to create a space that is welcoming, inclusive, and free of judgment, where clients can feel comfortable being themselves.
I believe therapy should be a collaborative process where both the therapist and client bring valuable knowledge to the table. While therapy requires effort, my goal is to support you in navigating difficult emotions, discovering new coping strategies, and achieving meaningful breakthroughs. Together, we will work toward creating lasting change and growth, empowering you to move forward with clarity and resilience.
“For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again.” -the Curious Case of Benjamin Button (screen play)

My name is Mary Ann and I am an individual, couples/relationship and family psychotherapist that believes that one of the most courageous thing we can do is do or say something different. Sometimes that means our lives will change. If you’re considering or currently making that change, or looking for help with relationships, I can be there to help you through it.
A variety of experiences have shaped my therapeutic approach. I’ve lived in a foreign country, worked in community care, and have lost important people in my life. The stressors of those times opened me to listening to my body in a new way, and helped me find new ways of responding to my loved ones. Like me, together we can work on being more mindful in your daily life, feel more solid emotionally and tell your new story.
I graduated with a bachelor degree in Religious Studies from University of Ottawa, focusing on the sociology and psychology of religion. I also completed my Masters in Counselling, Psychotherapy and Spirituality from Saint Paul University. I work with individuals, couples and families. My approach is trauma-informed, client-centred and attachment-based. Whatever it is you hold sacred, let’s maximize its potential to assist you on your healing path.
