Christina Patrick
Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here.
About Me
I’m Christina Patrick, a compassionate and dedicated Registered Social Worker with a deep passion for guiding individuals through life’s complexities. Both my personal and professional experiences have shaped my ability to help you overcome challenges and find purpose on your journey toward healing.
My Approach to Therapy
I take an integrative approach to therapy, combining various treatment modalities to create a personalized and effective experience for each client. With a warm, conversational style, I tailor strategies to your unique needs, fostering a space where you feel truly understood and supported. I’m flexible and open, continuously adapting my methods to suit what feels right for you. My approach is down-to-earth and collaborative, rooted in the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship is key to meaningful progress.
The Therapeutic Journey
I often think of therapy as a journey—not to a far-off place, but deep within yourself. Just as a skilled guide knows the safest and most rewarding paths through uncharted terrain, I help you explore the intricate landscapes of your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we uncover hidden strengths, overcome obstacles, and cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself and your potential. This journey may be challenging at times, but with the right guide, it becomes an empowering and transformative adventure.
What I Can Help You With
No matter what you’re facing—whether it’s overwhelm, spirals of overthinking, or other challenges—I’m glad you’re here. Together, we can turn your insights into a clear vision for the future you want. Whether you need a listening ear or practical tools to navigate life’s obstacles, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, but by being here, you’ve already taken a meaningful step. To help you decide if my approach feels right for you, I warmly invite you to book a free 15-minute consultation.
Who Am I Outside of Therapy?
When I’m not in the therapy chair, you’ll likely find me outdoors—walking, exploring nature, weightlifting, or playing sports. I also enjoy savoring a good cup of coffee, trying new foods, diving into a great book, listening to music, and spending time with family, friends, and my fur baby.
I’m here to support you, wherever you are on your journey.

Wayne Vassair MSW, RSW
Hi, I’m Wayne, a Registered Social Worker with 17 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, families, and communities through life’s challenges. I have worked with children, teens, adults, seniors, and 2SLGBTQIA+ clients, addressing a wide range of concerns, from mental health struggles to relationship challenges and addiction recovery—often during times of crisis.
I am passionate about creating a safe, judgment-free space where you feel heard, valued, and understood. I believe you are the expert of your own story, and I am here to partner with you to foster healing, growth, and meaningful change. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and genuine. I take a client-centered stance while integrating evidence-based practices to suit your unique needs.
I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and strengths-based approaches, drawing from ecological systems theory to understand your experiences within their broader context. I also hold advanced training in the Gottman Method (Level 2) for couples counselling and am currently completing training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to deepen my work with relationships.
I specialize in supporting men with issues such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, communication, grief, trauma, and anger management. I am also skilled in working with clients navigating infidelity, addiction, intellectual disabilities, and neurodiversity, as well as couples striving to rebuild connection and trust.
My background includes supporting individuals facing homelessness, food insecurity, financial stress, and complex social systems. I have worked with youth in detention centers, dually diagnosed adults in day programs, and families managing mental health and relationship struggles.
I understand that stepping into therapy can feel overwhelming—especially for men who may face societal pressures to “tough it out.” Having experienced my own path through therapy, I know the courage it takes to be vulnerable. I am here to create a supportive environment where you feel truly seen and empowered to make positive changes in your life. Let’s work together to uncover the barriers holding you back, heal past wounds, and build a path toward the life you envision.
