Christina Patrick
Hi there! I’m Christina Patrick. If you’ve landed here, you’re likely searching for someone who can truly listen, guide you without pressure, and empower you to move forward. Whether you’re navigating the waves of anxiety, untangling relationship challenges, or simply feeling a bit lost, I’m here to help you rediscover your inner compass. Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, but by being here, you’ve already taken a meaningful and important first step toward growth and healing.
I specialize in helping individuals ages 12 and older, addressing a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship issues. I combine evidence-based techniques including but not limited to; Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I customize strategies to meet each client’s specific needs with a warm, conversational style to create a space where you can truly be yourself. I am always open to tailoring my methods to what feels right for you while bringing a creative, fresh perspective to our sessions. My integrative and holistic style ensures that therapy is not just effective but also deeply personal, inclusive, and supportive for individuals from all backgrounds, identities, and orientations.
My style is down-to-earth and collaborative—I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship and strive to provide an empathetic and supportive space where clients feel truly understood. Some sessions might involve reflection and deep insight; others might focus on actionable steps to tackle what is in front of you but always guided at your pace.
I often think of life as a journey through a vast and ever-changing landscape. Sometimes the path is clear and easy to follow, but other times, it feels as though you’re lost in a dense forest, struggling to find your way. As a therapist, I see myself as a guide—not someone who tells you where to go, but someone who walks beside you, helping you navigate the current ground you walk on, notice the beauty along the way, and discover the tools within you to keep moving forward. Together, we’ll explore your map and chart a path that feels authentic, meaningful, and entirely your own. While this journey requires courage, it also holds the promise of profound rewards: a deeper understanding of yourself, a renewed sense of self, and a clearer vision for your future. Your journey toward healing and growth starts here, and I’d be honoured to walk alongside you every step of the way.
When I’m not in the therapy chair, you’ll likely find me outdoors, either walking or exploring the beauty nature offers, or engaging in some form of physical activity like weightlifting or playing sports. I enjoy savoring a good cup of coffee or trying new foods. At times, I might be curled up with a good book, listening to music, or spending quality time with my family, friends, and my fur baby. I deeply believe in the power of self-discovery and balance—between effort and rest, self-growth and self-compassion—exploration and action, and vulnerability and strength. I bring this philosophy into the therapeutic space, striving to integrate that balance into our sessions.
I am currently accepting new clients and offer flexible virtual appointments, including weekends evenings, and daytime availability Lets connect- Book a free 15-minute consult today to explore how we can work together!
